I was visiting Jackson for work and had seen this place on tv. I ordered the bologna, the smoked sausage, pig ear and the hot tamales. I liked the tamales. Maybe if the sliders were hot I would have liked them. The ppl were fine. The line is long so be prepared to wait. I don’t honk I’ll be back but you never know.
A piece of Jackson, MS culinary history. I was taken here by some business associates and will always come back when I am in Jackson. When you walk in you just smell the sausage and pig ears in the air. The sizzling on the griddle of bologna and the sounds of the turners hitting the griddle top. The food was simple and awesome, nothing fancy here just a great place to grab new favorite pig ear sandwich. From the food to the history of who could have sat in those chairs and along that lunch counter this place is a must visit!
Very welcoming. This is best location in Jackson. Those sandwiches will have you coming back for more. Plus, be there when they 1st open.
